One of the main questions we get about the Volkswagen ID.Buzz battery involves how many miles drivers can go on a single battery charge. While the EPA estimate of the Volkswagen ID.Buzz EV range hasn’t been released yet, Car and Driver testing determined that the VW ID.Buzz range will be around 300 miles*. That’s not much different than how many miles most vehicles get from a tank of gasoline. • Level 3 charging, also called DC fast charging, is available at public charging stations. It’s the quickest recharging method, with most electric vehicle batteries capable of getting an 80 percent charge in just 30 minutes.
